PERMANENT DIACONATE
DEACON KEVIN HALE
In November 2011 Deacon Kevin Hale was appointed to Ku-ring-gai Chase Catholic Parish as
Deacon. Kevin was previously appointed as Deacon at Hornsby Parish (Our Lady of the Rosary)
at Waitara. He is married to Lois and has four children, three of whom are married and have
children of their own. He has been a parishioner of Ku-ring-gai Chase Catholic Parish for many
years. He was ordained on 18 April 2008.
On Sunday 15 May 2011 Bishop David Walker admitted parishioner Adrian Gomez to Candidacy for the Permanent Diaconate.
Please pray for Adrian and his family, wife Cristina and children Julian and Sophia, as he embarks on his journey to the Permanent Diaconate
David Huntley was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate on Friday16 April 2004 at Corpus Christi Cathedral St Ives.
Mrs Judy Huntley, David's wife, died on 7 June 2008
Since that time Deacon David developed dementia and was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He retired to St Mary's Villa, Dubbo to be close to family.
Deacon David died in Dubbo on 16 January 2010. May he and Judy rest in peace.
